FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR WORKSHOP-TUPELO
NMLETC will host a 3-day Firearms Instructor Workshop during March 1-3,2010. Cost for one officer is $50.00 and $25.00 for each additional officer from the same department. This course is designed to meet the mandatory 24 hours of continuing educational requirements to maintain your NRA Firearms Instructor Certificate.
Equipment needed: 500 rounds pistol ammo, 500 rounds patrol rifle ammo, 25 rounds buckshot, patrol rifle, duty handgun with 3 mags, duty shotgun, and flashlight. Also bring weapon cleaning equipment.

COLT ARMORER SCHOOL-SOUTHAVEN, MS
The Southaven Police Department will be hosting the Colt Armorer’s Schools in Southaven at the Police Department Range on August 16 - 18, 2010 for the Colt AR 15/M 16 rifles and sub guns, and August 19 - 20 for the Colt 1911 series 70 and 80. MTOA QUARTERLY MEETING-2/3/2010
MTOA Quarterly Meeting is set for 2/3/2010 at the MLEOTA Range classroom in Pearl, MS. Board members need to report at 1000 hours and the general meeting will start at 1300 hours.
Desoto Co. S.O. will conduct a powerpoint presention on a recent barricade situation and we will also talk about the 2009 conference and make plans for the 2010 conference.
