AST-1 FREE TRAINING BY SCG INTERNATIONAL
SCG International will host a free 1-day Tactical Handgun Training Course at their facility located at 230 Heritage Drive in Holly Springs. THIS CLASS HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 2010. We will put out more information as soon as possible.

Class size is limited. Students will need 500 rounds of ammunition, eye protection, ear protection, duty belt, and outdoor clothing.

MLEOA/MTOA WINTER CONFERENCE-SOUTHAVEN
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF REGISTRATIONS.
MTOA will partner with the MS Law Enforcement Officers Association (MLEOA) and co-host a winter training conference at Southaven during February 11-12, 2010 in Southaven.
MTOA will conduct a Patrol Rifle Course/Qualification (MTOA Staff) or a Tactical Handgun Course (Chief Tom Long) (your choice) for $25.00. This will cover the cost of the course, 1 year membership in MLEOA, and a T-shirt.

NRA PRECISION RIFLE INSTRUCTOR COURSE-MLEOTA
MTOA is hosting a NRA Precision Rifle Instructor Course at MLEOTA in Pearl, MS during April 19-23, 2010. Tuition is $525.00 payable to NRA. Students can stay at MLEOTA (room and meals) for $35.00 per day.

As a Defensive Tactics System for Law Enforcement, Corrections, and High Level Security Officers, Strategic Self-defense & Grappling Tactics (SSGT) is dedicated to practical, effective and court defensible techniques. This system is a leader in addressing the most serious situations law enforcement officers face in the line of duty such as: Bear-hugs, head-locks, throat grabs, tackles, handgun and long gun retention and disarming, knife defense and what to do in various ground grappling situations. SSGT addresses these situations without the use of excessive force and complicated martial arts movements. This is a tactically documented system with an organized method of instruction, addressing both officer and subject safety.
