Combined Entry/Sniper Event
7PM-Annual Awards Banquet and Frank Cochran Center in Meridian, MS
*All competitors will need uniforms, boots, gloves, Kevlar, rain gear, ballistic vest and/or load carrying vest, water, eye protection, ear protection, and approximately 150 rounds of handgun ammunition, 50 rounds of patrol rifle ammunition, and 50 rounds of sub-gun ammunition. Team leaders should also bring .12 gauge slug, buckshot, and 7 ½ shot for special events. ALL COMPETITORS WILL COMPETE IN BOOTS, CALL-OUT GEAR, AND WILL WEAR HEAD/EAR/EYE PROTECTION AS REQUIRED. GEAR REQUIREMENTS WILL BE BRIEFED TO TEAM LEADERS.
GLOCK ARMORER COURSE AT MTOA 2008 CONFERENCE/COMPETITION
Glock has discounted it’s normal $150.00 fee to $100.00 to officers registered for the 2008 Conference/Competition and will hold a basic armorer/armorer recertification on Monday, October 13, 2008 from 8AM-5PM at RCTA. Officers need to bring a check payable to “Glock Professional” in the amount of $100.00. Space in this class is limited. Agencies that want to participate must email me with student names ASAP.

Registration forms have been emailed out to officers in our database. They will also be available on the MTOA website under “events” shortly. All registration forms need to be returned to Sec/Treas. Randy Ruffin by October 1, 2008.
Please get these forms back to us by the deadline so we can make preparations for the conference!
Hotel Rooms for 2008 Conference/Competition
The MTOA 2008 Conference and Competition is set for Oct. 13-16, 2008 in Meridian, MS.
The host hotel for the conference is the Super 8 Motel. 50 rooms (30 doubles/20 kings) have been blocked for the conference at $70.00 per room, no tax. The reservation cut-off date is Oct. 8, 2008. Tell them you are with the MTOA for the group rate.
