ACCOMMODATIONS FOR 2006 NASC-IMPORTANT
Due to the large number of soldiers training at Camp Shelby, they will only be able to provide “B-1″ barracks for competitors who elect to stay on post. These are barracks buildings that have individual rooms. Latrines are located in an adjacent building. You will need to bring sheets and towels, etc. if you elect to stay there. These rooms are air conditioned but are not what we have been used to in the past. Persons who elect to stay on post will be charged $5.00 per day payable to the MTOA. You do not need to contact billeting at all and we will pass out room keys at in-processing.
Hotels in the Hattiesburg area are also a problem due to the high number of military personnel at Camp Shelby. We are contacting local hotels to lock in rooms and get the best rates possible so check back on the “live updates” section frequently.
The first hotel available is University Inn located near the intersection of Highway 49 and I-59 which is about 15 minutes from Camp Shelby. We have 7 rooms blocked off there with a reservation deadline of 3-1-2006. The double rate is $69.00 per night. The phone number is 601-268-2850. Advise them you are with the North American Sniper Championship.
We are sorry about the inconvenience and are doing our best to get this issue resolved.

2006 NORTH AMERICAN SNIPER CHAMPIONSHIP
We still have openings to fill for the 2006 NASC scheduled for March 6-9, 2006 at Camp Shelby. Please help get the word out! We also have some “single” shooters who are looking for partners. If you know of anyone interested, please contact me ASAP.

MTOA’s NEW LiveUpdate System
Hello MTOA Members.
We have put this in place so the MTOA President can, in real-time, update the Association with the latest information on current news and events surrounding the MTOA. Currently, Mark Hicks will be responsible for any information updated to this area of the site. All event forms and basic information will still be available in the “Events†area of the main site (http://www.mtoa.us) as it always has. We hope you find this useful.
